Julie Zahn is a printmaker and painter working in Philadelphia, PA. She uses woodcut and Japanese stencil dyeing to produce works on paper and wood panels. Images of birds and plants, light and color, make arresting visual compositions.
After completing the 4-year full-time Certificate program at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, she studied in Kyoto for an additional year.
